Sociology teaching assignments at various extension sites.

Essential Duties Summary
Required Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Sociology or Social Work required. A minimum of 18 hours graduate work within the coursework relevant to the specific content area is required. Experience in a post-secondary academic institution teaching non-traditional and adult students. Must understand and be supportive of non-traditional students in accelerated adult-focused delivery system. Must be experienced and comfortable with Blackboard learning management system. Computer expertise with MS Office is required. Good organizational and word processing skills necessary. Ability to prioritize, complete multiple tasks, and possess good interpersonal, communication, and writing skills. Attention to detail is essential. Must be able to perform all essential duties satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in multicultural academic environments preferred and individuals from diverse populations are encouraged to apply.
